Hitchwriter: Yes there are actually 8-10 people who stand out in the last decade. They all have contributed immensely to where we are today, it’s a rich era. I just had to pick my favourite 5. :)
Pradyut: Yes, Laxman is always downplayed, me included in this article. Many are also of the view that is 281 is actually the turning point from which we never looked back. I agree.

I for one truly believe we changed after Sourav… and 2001 Eden was when the belief truly entered the team … !! Veeru is a treasure that all will be envious !!!

Anil & Rahul may not get limelight but their contributions are immeasurable…

So are Laxman’s and Sachin’s… even Zak and Bhajji ! lol… its been a long long journey… and cricket in the last decade for us Indian followers has been a welcome change… !!
